Group Workshops

The Digital Storytelling Team is willing to work with you to accommodate a group workshop to groups of up to 15 people (or 12 stories).  Whether internal to OSU or external, we will work with you to find a date when our instructional team and your group can come together for a 3 day workshop.  Summer workshops are easiest for us to accommodate. These workshops follow the same format as the OSU Winter and Summer Workshops:

• Story workshop/script development
• Script recording
• Image selection/photo editing instruction
• Video editing instruction (software varies)
• Music selection instruction

We provide:

• Continental breakfast each morning
• 3 days instruction/support
• Workspace
• Hardware and software
• Compilation of the group’s final stories on DVD for each member of the group. The DVDs will contain multiple formats of each story and will be given to you to distribute to participants.

You provide:

• Selection of up to 12 participants. We can accommodate 3 additional participants if they are working in a team for a total of 12 stories maximum
• Lodging/travel/transportation support as needed
• Correspondence/local arrangement information with participants

Participants provide:

• Portable media drives for saving individual work (jump/media drives)
• Imagination
• Camaraderie
• Hard work
• Lunch costs/logistics (If the group wants to bring in food we can help you arrange this at the participants’ expense.)

Cost:

For OSU affiliated group coordinators: flat rate of $4800 with a maximum of 12 stories (up to 15 participants)

For non-OSU affiliated group coordinators: flat rate of $5100 with a maximum of 12 stories (up to 15 participants)
