Attend a Workshop

Would you like to be able to present your teaching, research or outreach in a uniquely powerful way?  Would you like to learn the basics of a variety of digital editing software in the company of a unique group of 12-14 faculty and staff from across the university?  Then consider participating in one of our Winter or Summer Digital Storytelling Workshops.  These 3-day intensive workshops include:

  • Story workshop/script development
  • Script recording
  • Image selection/iPhoto instruction
  • iMovie or Final Cut Express instruction (varies)
  • Garage Band instruction

2012 Summer Workshop:

The Digital Storytelling Program announces the summer workshop which will be held June 12-14, from 9 to 4 each day.  Registration is now open.

060 Science and Engineering Library (Learning Collaboration Studio), The Ohio State University
Fee for OSU faculty, staff and students:
$480 per person (includes a continental breakfast)
Fee for those outside OSU:
$780 per person (includes a continental breakfast)

Group Workshops

The Digital Storytelling Program offers occasional 3-day intensive workshops to groups of up to 15 people (or 12 stories), whether internal to OSU or external.  These workshops follow the same format as the OSU Winter and Summer Workshops:

  • Story workshop/script development
  • Script recording
  • Image selection/iPhoto instruction
  • iMovie or Final Cut Express instruction (varies)
  • Garage Band instruction
